Last 29 September, a landmark event took place on Lake Annecy: the first public sailing of our boat, the Savoie, following an ambitious electric retrofit project. The Savoie is a historic vessel that, after decades of service (she’s been sailing for us since 1965!), has been modernised with a fully electric propulsion system by our partner GCK Mobility, who are currently also working on several projects for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This transformation, completed in late September, allows the Savoie to glide silently and emission-free across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Annecy, offering an unrivalled cruising experience.
The Savoie’s electric retrofit involved several rounds of rigorous testing to ensure optimal safety and outstanding performance.
